People come to my office with hopes of experiencing some sort of positive change. I see my role as creating the environment for change to happen. I view my work with people as collaborative. In other words, the counselor and client work together to set goals and develop the means to meet these goals. I hope to make the person sitting across from me in my office realize that they are their most important resource for making life “work”. I believe that our interactions with people provide the basic foundation for our self-concept. I acknowledge how important relationships are to our lives, therefore working with couples is my passion. I value all couples. My experience also includes helping individuals work through the symptoms of depression, anxiety and addiction.
