"What's happened to my relationship? We used to be close but I can hardly remember those feelings". You may feel that your relationship is more like a chore than a reward. Whatever your struggles, sometimes it takes an outside person to help you get a fresh perspective, learn new skills, or to help you get through tough times. Learning to be more vulnerable with your partner and stopping negative cycles of interaction that bring you apart can give you the tools to help each other use moments of being misunderstood or angry to create increased connection rather than conflict or distance. My specialties include relationship issues such as emotional injuries, trust difficulties, communication problems, feelings of disconnection, constant fighting, and premarital counseling. I work with both couples and individuals to help them break free from unhealthy cycles of interaction and reestablish feelings of closeness, safety, and security in their relationships.
