My name is Dr. Mara H.K. Hoe, most know me as Dr. Hoku Hoe. I am a Clinical Psychologist with a Health Psychology background. I started Kahuli Therapy, a private practice in Kaneohe, Oahu to encourage wellness one small change at a time. If you are struggling with career and life changes, relationship difficulties, depression, anxiety or trauma, I can help you navigate these challenges. If you would like support in being able to manage chronic conditions or problems related to lifestyle, I can help you take the first steps. I have a strong background in cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness based approaches, and person-centered, strength based psychology. My care is culturally informed. Growing up on Molokai and the daily practice of Hawaiian values here on Oahu also inform my care.
