I employ a cross theoretical approach to get to the root causes that lead clients to make poor choices and into destructive, self-defeating behaviors that foster depression, anxiety, sleep problems, fractured relationships, and often substance use. Many clients have had traumatic childhood experiences that prevented healthy emotional development and are frustrated and confused when attempting to express themselves in adulthood, unable to understand what went wrong. I provide encouragement and support to clients as they strive to replace unhealthy behaviors with healthy ones. I work with couples and individuals 16 y.o. and up.
