My role as a therapist is empowering and supporting you in exploring and using your unique identities, lived experiences, and strengths to navigate life stressors, cultivate safe and secure relationships with self and others, and feel better and more connected in your mind and body; we will explore this from the lens of how families, communities and systems have shaped you as a human in this world. I use a relational-based approach by focusing on building a trusting, supportive, and warm relationship with you, while often incorporating mindfulness practice, DBT skills and attachment/narrative reflective work in our sessions.
