Sometimes it feels like everything is going wrong, that we are the reason it's gone so wrong and that we'll never get back to where we want to be. If you've had these feelings, you're not alone. While these thoughts may feel so real, they do not have to be your reality. I know how isolating it can feel when it seems like every friend or family member just doesn't understand what we're going through or what we need. I know how powerful and transformative a good therapeutic relationship can be. I've been working in the mental health field for almost a decade with an array of experiences from specialty mental health therapy and case management to the graveyard shift at the suicide crisis hotline. I am a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP).
