During times of transition, and emotional distress, therapy can help with symptom reduction, and help improve our daily functioning and relationships. I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in California and Hawaii with over fifteen years of experience in the mental health field. I have worked extensively with adolescents, young adults, parents, as well as individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, learning difficulties, trauma, parenting and relationship issues. I take a strength-based approach that is compassionate, collaborative, culturally inclusive, and trauma-informed. In our initial meeting, you can expect a welcoming and supportive space where we’ll begin to build rapport, and explore what brings you to therapy. I’ll ask questions to learn more about your experiences, goals, family history as it relates to any current challenges you’re facing.
