Change is good, but change is also hard! In my experience, therapy is about working with individuals to help them reach their life goals, despite obstacles and maximize their potential. Despite the hard work involved, my mission is for therapy to be a positive experience. Simply stated, it should be a collaborative effort based on problem solving, support and the exchange of ideas. Additionally, treatment needs to be developed in the context of a person's life experiences and history. My hope is as treatment progresses individuals can move forward with what they have learned to independently facilitate future change.
