What we carry within us already, whether through our experiences with racism or discrimination, childhood upbringing, loss, illness or other life events, also informs our repetitive ways of thinking and behaving that may not be helpful to our mental well-being. Despite the prevalence of trauma, we also have the capacity for resiliency. My goal is to tap into this strength by offering the support, skills and interventions that can increase our sense of purpose and thrive.
