My approach to counseling is to help raise my clients' awareness of their unique strengths and the possiblities available to them for change and growth. One way of empowering these changes is by exploring ways in which my clients may be operating under the influence of mistaken belief systems, and help them shift toward more hopeful, optimistic thinking. I encourage utilizing humor and self-compassion as tools for transformation. Over the years of my practice I have felt fortunate to have witnessed the courage, creativity and resliency of the people I have met.
