You are considering counseling because you may need support and encouragement at a particularly challenging time in your life. Talking to loved ones may not be an option. A professional counselor can assist you in finding more clarity and insight. When we recognize unhelpful patterns, we can initiate change by looking at our options. Even at times when we can't change the inevitable, we can still learn to cope by utilizing our internal wisdom. Perhaps I can support you on your journey towards increasing insight and wisdom. I believe that therapy is a process which is grounded in trust and in the safety of a therapeutic relationship. My feedback is intended to deepen awareness of your authenticity. By honoring your unique way of being, I can assist you in finding the answers you need at this time. I am strongly influenced by the theories of Carl Jung whose ideas encourage creativity and playfulness. Mindfulness is also a strong component of my work with clients.
