Making the choice to go to therapy can be hard, and you are taking a great step in prioritizing your health and well-being. My goal is to empower you to achieve your goals, maintain healthy relationships, and recognize your strengths and potentials. My approach to therapy is empowering, person-centered, and free from judgment. I will provide a safe and inclusive space for you to explore your identities, process trauma, and heal from emotional wounds. I have several years of experience working with survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and other forms of trauma. I utilize an integrated approach to therapy, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), unconditional positive regard, motivational interviewing, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing therapy (EMDR). I also do my best to include mindfulness, nature, art, animals, and humor into therapy when appropriate.
