It can be hard to be a person in the world at times; especially if you have experienced trauma, grief, relationship issues or learned that something terrible will happen if you are not "perfect." Despite being “put together” on the outside, you find yourself spending so much energy trying to stay that way that you are burning out. You want to feel better but you are getting so overwhelmed that you shut down before you even know where to start. Many of my people have these concerns when we first meet but together we are able to practice actionable steps to access joy and security in the present and reconnect with hope for the future.
