Hi, I’m Marissa, I am a licensed clinical social worker living in West Michigan with over 8 years of experience providing mental health services to adults based in both Michigan and Washington state. I have training in Prolonged Exposure and Cognitive Processing Therapy for PTSD/trauma, Gottman Method Couples Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I specialize in treating trauma and PTSD, career stressors/burnout, and relationship issues. I have special interest in working with other healthcare professionals on issues related to the emotional toll that being a helping professional can take and finding better ways to manage the unique stressors of the job.
