Hi! I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LHMC) in Ankeny, Iowa. I take a trauma-informed approach while focusing on PTSD, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), life transitions, grief & loss, dissociation, and anxiety. I have a profound respect for using Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR) with my clients who have previously experienced negative events in their lives. I also utilize Exposure & Response Prevention (ERP) to work through OCD, anxiety, and phobias. I am trained the following areas: trauma, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), perinatal mental health, grief and loss, dissociation, depression, and anxiety. I use Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing).
