Hi, I'm Marissa! I help people heal from trauma. Specifically, I help people end the cycle of feeling controlled by their circumstances and the unfortunate cards life has dealt them and take back control over their mind and their life. You might have recently experienced a life changing event or you may have experienced something several years ago that still impacts you today. What I want you to know is your mind does not have to feel like a scary place and life can get easier and better. As a clinical social worker and therapist, I consider you, your history and all systems that impact your life when providing therapy. I also specialize in ADHD symptom management and helping people of color heal and navigate life transitions and relationship issues. I enjoy providing individual therapy to adults and adolescents age 14 and older. I am trained in several trauma therapy modalities, including EMDR, CPT and TF-CBT. I also offer general psychotherapy (CBT).
