Marjorie is a Spanish language Bilingual Psychotherapist from South America and has been practicing in the USA since 2008. Marjorie graduated with both a bachelor's degree in social work and a master's degree in clinical social work from California State University Los Angeles. Marjorie works both in her own private practice -focusing on women’s issues and minority populations - and as a Psychiatric Social Worker for a large managed care organization, helping clients with diverse psychosocial stressors or chronic mood disorders. During the assessment (intake) I'd usually gather background information related to your family and individual mental health history, your areas of strengths and coping, as well as your symptoms (areas of concerns / problems that bring you to therapy).
