My areas of focus are helping people who are struggling with anxiety, depression, grief and trauma: struggles can lead us to feel stuck, scared, overwhelmed, sad, and exhausted. When we focus our attention on only a few strong feelings, a few loud inner voices, and a limited number of choices, we feel restricted, conflicted and not fully ourselves. A good therapist helps us feel better in the same way that a good optometrist helps us see better.
