About
I'm a mental health therapist and the owner of the counseling group Marley Mental Health, which has therapists who work with children and teens as well as families. Children often show us they’re struggling not through words, but through baffling behaviors—tantrums, withdrawal, worries, perfectionism, etc. We help kids understand what they’re feeling, learn new ways to cope, and build emotional resilience so that the entire family can thrive. We provide a developmentally appropriate approach through play therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy and acceptance and commitment therapy for children, and parent involvement when desired. Teens have their own particular needs. When they deal with stress, anxiety, academic pressure, or family challenges, therapy can be a valuable tool in supporting their well-being. Our teen therapy services are trauma informed and include emotional regulation and identity development, CBT, DBT, ACT, stress reduction techniques, and parent guidance if desired.
