Understanding what is motivating a child’s behavior often takes a trained eye. The therapeutic relationship will help foster an understanding, work towards preventing and managing psychological based distress for both parents and children. Children often do not have the words to let parents know why they are acting the way they do. Parents wonder is this just a phase my child is going through? As a therapist my role is to gain an understanding of what makes your child do what he or she is doing.
