My name is Martha Munoz, and I have a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Sociology from the University of Maryland, University College, and a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Bowie State University. I am bilingual in Spanish and English, and my experience includes working with children, adolescents, young adults, adults, military service members, retirees, and military dependents with depression, PTSD, trauma, anxiety, substance use disorder, LGBTQ issues, grief and loss, and other mental health issues in inpatient and outpatient settings. My therapeutic approach supports a safe and empathetic environment that fosters acceptance and understanding. A client’s unique needs, goals, and challenges will be met through eclectic therapeutic approaches.
