I recognize the courage it takes to seek professional counseling and consider it an honor to walk with clients through the pain of life’s challenges. I believe that clients are best able to meet the goals of therapy in an environment where they are unconditionally accepted and empathically understood and consider it a sacred privilege to be trusted with my clients' thoughts, feelings, and experiences. For clients who are interested in incorporating faith into treatment, I am trained to integrate Christian spirituality into the healing process. Sometimes clients become stuck because the past is manifesting itself in their present circumstances and they feel powerless to disconnect these two things. EMDR therapy is a highly effective treatment for those who have lived through trauma or relational distress and can provide relief to clients who feel stuck in a dysfunctional pattern.
