Some clients come to me determined to understand why they find themselves entering the very relationships or situations they set out to avoid. Others have concerns about marital discontent. Maybe it's a new medical diagnosis, or an old way of coping that no longer works. Perhaps it's struggle rooted in childhood or related to aging. While life can at times involve struggle, even suffering, my work gives me undeniable proof that human nature provides inordinate potential for creative problem-solving. I encourage clients to tap into this capacity and together we create strategies for moving forward, with an eye toward healing.
