Hello, I remember a joke from some time ago that goes something like this: "Three friends were walking together one day, and one remarked, 'It's windy.' Another responded, 'No. It's Thursday.' Still, the other answered, 'I'm thirsty, too. Let's have a cup of tea." Is it that way for you sometimes? Finding that you are not really being heard and understood? I get it! I work with clients to help them identify their strengths and abilities, which enable them to communicate their needs more effectively to themselves and others, ultimately leading to improved overall functioning in their lives. In our first session together, we begin with brief introductions, discuss the reason for entering therapy, outline goals, and review your history to develop a plan that offers change.
