Hello, my name is Mary Baummier and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I use a collaborative and gentle approach to help my client's overcome trauma, depression, and anxiety. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for most of my clients. In this approach, we identify what the goals in therapy are and identify measurable ways to reach these goals. I also use a structured approach called Traumatic Incident Reduction with those who have experienced trauma. This allows the client to process the traumatic incident in a guided and safe way to reduce the negative emotions and feelings associated with the traumatic event.
