I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years of training and experience in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy practices and techniques. Cognitive Therapy lends itself well to all psychological disorders, including challenges associated with problematic styles of personality and mood. Within that framework, I incorporate schema-based methods, guiding clients in discovering and understanding how core beliefs are developed and influencing day-to-day decisions, behaviors, and reactions. Mindfulness skills are taught, encouraging self-awareness, self-acceptance, and emotional balance.
