Hi! I'm Mary - professional counselor, big sister, and kind person. I provide individual counseling to adults and teenagers in Louisiana. I offer in-person therapy for those in the Baton Rouge area and provide Telehealth services within the State as well. I approach counseling from a person-centered perspective and primarily use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) paired with mindful self-compassion techniques. I often incorporate psychoeducation and mental health assessments in my practice and collaborate well with other mental health providers to improve client outcomes. I have completed several trainings to improve my assessment capabilities and treatment planning for clients who are Autistic and/or ADHD (self-diagnosed included). Additionally, I recently completed 15 continuing education hours in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) therapy to support clients diagnosed with OCD and other anxiety-related concerns.
