Mary practices in our Twin Cities location. She is a Master’s-level Licensed Psychologist with a PhD in Family Social Science from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities. Mary took an unusual path, having first earned her undergraduate degree in Viola Performance and Japanese Studies. Between her undergraduate and graduate degrees, she lived in Japan for a number of years as a violist and English language teacher. Mary has extensive experience working in health care. She has helped people around anxiety, depression, grief, caregiving, the impacts of Alzheimer’s disease, human sexualities, family relationships, young adulthood, and navigating through chronic and acute stress.
