I have been practicing clinical social work since I received my Masters in 1986. Settings I have worked in include: community mental health agencies, youth residential programs, schools (elementary, middle and high school), remote therapy platforms. I love my work and easily connect with all types of clients, placing importance on building trusting therapeutic alliances. I believe that patients exhibit courage to engage in the therapeutic process. I view the therapeutic alliance between myself and client as a partnership. In our first session, we will start with introductions. We will get to know each other a bit then I will ask the client what brings them to therapy at this particular time.
