Hi, I'm Matteo! If you are someone who feels stuck in life or on a specific issue, I would love to work with you. My approach focuses on body language and what unique insights being attentive to our bodies can give us. I offer a wide range of services but specialize in counseling issues surrounding LGBTQ+ identity, discrimination, grief, trauma, social anxiety, religion, and spirituality. My work is supervised by Tim Jenkins, LCPC and we train weekly on specific topics. I offer client-centered Gestalt therapy. The founders of these approaches emphasized authenticity in practice. Meaning that if we can have a relationship in which we can be our honest selves, that is more than half the battle. From that strong relationship, we can explore your life challenges and build systems of support.
