It takes great courage to choose to come to counseling, to mindfully consider what it is that's contributing to your pain, suffering, or hardship. We as people all experience hardship, and each of us develop a narrative to account for it - how we make sense of the world. My role as a counselor is to come alongside you, to identify and work towards your goals together. Through the process of counseling you not only work to decrease symptoms, but to live a life congruent with your values, to be well. Whether you experience depression, anxiety, or some other barrier I consider it a privilege to walk with you in this journey.
