The journey toward recovery from addiction is difficult, but worth the struggle. That's where I come in. I see my role as a collaborator in your recovery. I believe that much of the knowledge for a successful recovery is within you, and with the support of therapy a set of tools can be developed to increase your chances of success. My practice is an alternative to 12 step programs, and centers around helping you shift your thoughts and behaviors connected with the addiction, and make better decisions based on your personal values. Together we develop a relapse prevention plan to cope with potential pitfalls.
