As your therapist, I look forward to hearing about your needs, collaborating with you to define your goals, and starting you on a course toward achieving them. My specialties include anxiety, trauma / PTSD, depression, grief, adjustment, and relationship issues. Relational theory helps to inform my understanding of talk therapy processes. In addition, I also offfer as indicated EMDR and TIST-parts work tools, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, a form of psychotherapy incorporating Mindfulness, Cognitive, and Dialectical practices. Since receiving my MSW in 1999, I have worked as a psychotherapist at Holyoke Medical Center's OP Center for Behavioral Health, Brightside Counseling, and Providence OP where I supervised licensed clinicians. I completed The Trauma Institute’s Level II EMDR training in 2006.
