You can't adjust the wind, but we can adjust the sails; while we may not be able to change the factors that come our way, we can change the ways in which we approach whatever has caused difficulty. This quote encapsulates my sensitive, inviting, and unique approach to psychotherapy. I work with a variety of patients, and specialize in therapy for young adults, as well as therapy for psychotherapists and other helping professionals. I listen sensitively, towards an unbiased understanding of you and your story. Together we will explore, leaving you with a better understanding of yourself. My clinical work is centered in Psychodynamic and Relational Theories. My training was at Columbia University. Since, I have worked in several clinical settings, and now see patients, supervise, and teach therapists as the Assistant Director of South Shore Counseling. I also teach graduate courses in psychotherapy at Long Island University.
