I believe mental health is the essence of self-care. Therapy can be a difficult process, so I strive to create a safe space where my clients feel heard, understood, and comfortable. Our goal for therapy is to build a relationship where we can work together in identifying, understanding, and learning how to cope with thoughts and behaviors. I primarily work with individuals with depression, anxiety, trauma, and mood disorders. I have years of experience working with children and teens, helping them gain autonomy while overcoming the challenges in their life. I work collaboratively with parents to assist in an effective process. My professional and educational experiences have allowed me to become versed in a variety of therapeutic methods and interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person-Centered, and Solution Focused. I use an eclectic theoretical approach to embody many techniques, giving careful consideration the needs of my clients for a personal experience.
