While receiving my Masters I was skillfully trained in incorporating sound biblical principles into the therapeutic session, however, I always give my clients full choice in how much spirituality is integrated into sessions. I never push or shove religion on my clients. I think that it’s important to note that I haven’t always been the one in the therapist’s chair, but I’ve been on the couch divulging the hardest parts of my life. I’ve experienced, the lack of desire, the desperation, breakthrough moments, falling back into patterns, etc. I am equipped to help carry other’s burdens in a safe and open space because I can relate.
