I believe in experiential therapies like EMDR, because they help the client feel a sense of progress very quickly. I want to help clients know that they can feel stronger and more successful. I am interested in the role of voice, the ways that clients have been kept from telling their truths and the ways in which they can inhabit their truths in the present and in the future. Therapy is difficult work for the client-I want the people who come to me to feel safe as they take on this work.
