Hi there, thank you for stopping by! My name is Mechelle and I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in Florida. I am also a Certified Grief Counselor and I am currently working on completing my Grief Education Certification. I received my master’s degree in social work from Florida State University and have been practicing for 10 years. Life is full of ups, downs, and unexpected turns which can cause us to experience stress, leading to feeling burn out, being overwhelmed, anxious, depressed, and unmotivated. As a therapist I aim to work with my clients to navigate these life challenges as we will explore your thoughts, and feelings by developing a plan using evidence-based techniques. I provide a safe and supportive environment and will encourage you to make the changes needed to live your life to the fullest and feel like yourself again.
