The greatest predictor of success in therapy is the strength of the relationship with your counselor. In other words, it’s best to choose someone that you click with because it’s going to be easier for you to trust the process. I’m definitely a straight shooter, and I tell it like it is, but I always have your best interests in mind. I combine evidence-based treatments with talk therapy, and somehow, humor tends to creep in from time to time too.
