I am a Registered Play Therapist with a background working with children with attachment deficits/Reactive Attachment Disorder, ADHD, Adjustment Disorder, Anxiety Disorders and behavioral/emotional issues that they are struggling with managing in school, home and community settings. I utilize play therapy approaches as well as EMDR in my work with children, youth and families and place a strong emphasis on family collaboration/support due to the ongoing stressors that occur in families who have a child with special needs. This includes incorporating biological families, foster families and/or adoptive families into treatment.
