Welcome! I am so glad you are taking the first step to find happiness and well-being. My name is Megan Mackety and I am an LMSW with 16 years of professional experience. My main focus is on building connection and trust. I want to make sure you feel safe and heard as we build a therapeutic rapport. I am here to act as a sounding board to work through all those things that come up as we move through life. You are the expert on yourself. All of us deal with sadness and worry, but sometimes those feelings can become overwhelming and lead to anxiety and depression. During our first session together, we will become introduced. You will have the opportunity to share information about your life, work, relationships and family and go over the concerns that brought you to therapy. We can outline goals to work towards as each week progresses.
