My goal as a therapist is to build a strong alliance with my clients so that they feel supported and understood, and most importantly trusting of the process so that they can make meaningful changes in their life. Meeting my client where they are at during each stage of therapy is my main goal. I encourage clients to tap into their creative sides to enhance and work on problem areas in their life. I specialize in life transitions for adults, especially areas of self-concept, identity, demands of work life, family, and well-being. Client Centered and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) are two approaches that I utilize with my clients, but I always individualize treatment plans and can take pieces from a vast number of theories of practice to give my client the most effective therapy. I am a culturally cognizant therapist, as well as LGBTQ+ affirming.
