Because the brain is a social organ, people do better in connection. FMRI studies show that both emotional and physical pain is relieved by close connection with another. Therefore, I work from an "Attachment" perspective, providing a secure base for my clients to work through their struggles, trauma, and/or mental health challenges. I have extensive training in human emotion, limbic revision, and relationship distress and am comfortable working with individuals, couples and families.
