Meiken has extensive experience collaborating with an integrated medical team to support clients facing issues like trauma, substance abuse, anxiety, and depression. With training in perinatal and postpartum support, emotionally focused, and psychodynamic therapy, she is dedicated to helping people uncover their strengths and challenge beliefs that hold them back. Meiken supports clients navigating religious trauma, spiritual abuse, and faith deconstruction. Providing a safe space for those processing painful or confusing experiences within religious or spiritual communities, including the grief, identity shifts, and relational ruptures that can accompany a shift in belief.
