Melanie Carpenter, PsyD received her doctorate in clinical psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology, her BA in psychology from UCLA, and completed her post-doc at the Wright Institute, Los Angeles. She is a licensed clinical psychologist with expertise in anxiety and anxiety treatments. As a recovering actress, Dr. M has a particular interest in the mental health of actors and the impact of the pressure on actors from within the industry. Dr. M’s passion for actors led her to write her doctoral dissertation on red carpet anxiety.
