Building an honest and open therapeutic relationship is the foundation for success in counseling. I believe that my down to earth personality and passion to help and connect with others provide a safe and comfortable environment to explore the issues you may be facing. With over 20 years of experience with children, adolescents and adults, I have worked with a wide range of issues and clients in various stages of their lives. Whether in crisis or managing ongoing challenges, I work with each individual to create both short and long term goals to recover the balance and joy in their lives. Prior to private practice, I worked in community mental health agencies around Chicagoland and worked at an alternative high school with at-risk teens. I continue to work as a resource therapist in an adult partial hospitalization program where I stay connected with the community and work with diverse clients.
