I know that taking the first step into counseling can sometimes be challenging. I am client-centered and believe in getting to know you as a person, and utilize a realistic, cognitive-behavioral therapeutic approach although my counseling style is dependent upon your individual needs. I believe that we are a team and need to work together. Establishing a trusting, empathic, judgment free environment is the key to building a relationship that will support and empower people to achieve their best selves. We will spend the first couple of sessions working on getting to know your needs and together, coming up with goals to focus on.
