Sometimes we need the type of help that involves talking with a professional who is a compassionate and skilled listener. As a clinical psychologist, I believe in the importance of self-expression and respect for who you are as a person while attending to the needs and concerns that bring you to psychotherapy. My approach involves an effective relationship providing opportunities to know and understand yourself better, work through difficult issues and emotions caused by past or current experiences in life and relationships, and manage the impact of stress on mind/body. This allows you to live life more fully with contentment. My training throughout Chicagoland was in outpatient medical clinics, behavioral health services, private practice, and a doctoral internship accredited by the American Psychological Association. Prior to my career in psychology, I earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree and worked in different industries: manufacturing, marketing/graphic design, hospitality.
