Hello, I am Melissa Ridge, LLPC, Trauma-Focused Mental Health Therapist. My passion is empowering clients to use their own strength and skills I teach them to heal and grow in their mental health. Therapy is not a cookie cutter concept; and not every therapist is a good fit for every client and that is okay. My specialties are trauma, sexual abuse recovery, substance abuse, depression, anxiety, life stressors and changes, relationship issues, couples, and anyone ages 13 to geriatrics. It takes time, commitment and isn't a linear process. Here is the thing about the therapy process; it is also a very beautiful process. Therapy is never easy, nor is it something we discuss much about until we are adults, but it is necessary to have healthy relationships.
