I'm a down-to-earth therapist with a generally positive personality. I specialize in perinatal mental health; this pertains to pregnancy and post-partum women. Having a child changes everything, and it's okay if you’re not okay. Perinatal mood complications occur in every one in five mothers, you are not alone. I create a safe space to talk about hard things without judgment. My clients come to therapy to feel heard and to find ways to make things better. I’ve spent many years helping people who struggle with anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, and substance abuse issues. I offer a multitude of specialized evidence-based treatments for specific issues such as trauma and insomnia. My general approach is cognitive behavioral therapy with mindfulness and dialectical behavioral therapy skills.
